HAAWK Ranked Number 100 Fastest-Growing Company in North America on the 2023 Deloitte Technology Fast 500™

Attributes 275% Revenue Growth to the continued proliferation of user-generated video content

Los Angeles, CA, November 9, 2023 — HAAWK, Inc. (“HAAWK”) today announced it ranked number 433 on the Deloitte Technology Fast 500™, a ranking of the 500 fastest-growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences, fintech, and energy tech companies in North America, now in its 29th year. HAAWK founder and chief executive officer, Ryan Born, credits the continued proliferation of user-generated content (UGC) with the company’s 275% revenue growth. Music remains a primary focus and integral building block for YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and other UGC platforms. Since inception, HAAWK has been committed to building tools and services that assist music producers, labels, publishers, and video creators with UGC monetization. Our dedication to the creator community will continue to deliver growth in 2024 and beyond.”

“Each year we look forward to reviewing the progress and innovations of our Technology Fast 500 winners. This year is especially celebratory as we expand the number of winners to better represent just how many companies are developing new ideas to progress our society and the world, especially during a slow economy,” said Paul Silverglate, vice chair, Deloitte LLP and U.S. technology sector leader. “While software and services and life sciences continue to dominate the top 10, we are encouraged to see other categories making their mark. Congratulations to all the winners who show us how creativity, hard work and perseverance can lead to success.”

“As for growing companies, it’s always rewarding to be recognized for the ongoing commitment it takes to navigate obstacles, transform when necessary and ultimately create a thriving business,” said Christie Simons, partner, Deloitte & Touche LLP and industry leader for technology, media and telecommunications within Deloitte’s audit and assurance practice. “Over the nearly 30 years we’ve been compiling the Technology Fast 500, we’ve seen new categories emerge, growth rates explode, and certain regional markets shine from the bright talent they attract. We are proud of all the winners for achieving this well-deserved honor.”

HAAWK previously ranked #100 as a Technology Fast 500 award winner for 2021. Introducing HAAWK.

HAAWK monitors, monetizes, and enforces copyrights on user-generated video and audio platforms (YouTube Content ID, Facebook, Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud, and more). We’re building fresh technology to help bring accountability, transparency, and newfound revenue to today’s music and video rights holders. HAAWK was co-founded by myself and Ben Barger, an aeronautical engineer and operations specialist who headed up operations at our previous company, AdRev/AudioMicro, Inc..

HAAWK just closed it’s first round of funding, a $2.5M series seed round led by some of Southern California’s top VC firms and HAAWK recently acquired the assets of Dart Music, a music distribution and metadata company to help jumpstart our product offering and expand our distribution reach.

Details of HAAWK’s funding and the Dart acquisition were covered in TechCrunch, Music Business Worldwide, Digital Music News, and SocalTECH.

Thank you for your support.
